Handmade in the West Bank | When you purchase a "Thready" teddy bear, its twin is donated to a child refugee. These original, first-run Thready teddy bears include a poem that tells the Threadies story. The back of one ear has a unique fabric shared only by its twin. Threadies are made by artisans working with Child's Cup Full (CCF), a non-profit that trains and employs refugee women in the West Bank. Each Thready is hand-sewn by a team of women, who receive a living wage and valuable job training in return. With any excess profit, CCF supports the creation of grassroots childhood development programs across the region. Please note that due to the handmade nature of fair trade items, variations are to be expected and add to the charm and authenticity. Not intended for children under 3 yrs. Fiber Content: All new materials. Cotton & Polyester blend. Dimensions: Approx. 12 inches T.
